Naomi Mae Franks

The Norman Transcript

NORMAN — Naomi Mae Franks, 80, died March 17, 2013. She was born Dec. 12, 1932, in Dewey to Rufus Henry and Grace Idella (Glenn) Hanson.

Memorial service will be 1 p.m. today at South Lakes chapel, 4000 SW 119th St. in Oklahoma City.

She married Donald Ray Franks and together they raised a family. Naomi worked her way up from teller at Bank of Oklahoma to assistant manager before retiring.

She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Dewey, Conley and Noel Hanson.

She leaves behind her husband, Donald; son, Shawn Franks; two daughters, Glenda Nation and Vickie Stout; one granddaughter, Brittney Stout; and one great-grandson, Jaeden Corchado. Naomi was loved by all who knew her.

There will be no viewing or visitation.

Services are under the direction of Vondel Smith & Son Mortuary.
