Paula Roberts, secretary of the Cleveland County Election Board, announced today the filing period for City of Noble Council Members will be Monday, Feb. 8, through Wednesday, Feb. 10, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Cleveland County Election Board Office. The Election Board office is located at 641 E. Robinson St., Suite 200, in Norman.
The positions that are up for election are as follows:
City Council Member ? Ward 2 -2-year term
City Council Member ? Ward 4 ? 2-year term
City Council Member ? Ward 3 (unexpired term) 1-year remaining on term
Prospective candidates must be over 21 years of age and have been registered at an address within the ward for one year prior to filing for that office. The City of Noble General Election will be held on April 6.
Those who intend to file for office will be required to complete a Declaration of Candidacy packet which is available at the Cleveland County Election Board.
