A two-minute electrical outage at midnight Friday was planned, and was necessary for repair work related to a transmission pole that was broken recently, OG--E spokesperson Sandra Longcrier told The Transcript.
The outage affected customers on Slaughterville Road, south of Noble and east in the rural areas, she said.
A second two-minute outage related to the repair work is scheduled for 8 a.m. Monday and will affect customers living between Alameda and Bethel and 72nd and 120th avenues SE.
"I've notified city and county law enforcement, the city, and emergency management in Norman, Noble and Slaughterville," Longcrier said.
