Sheriff's office seeks fraud suspects

Cleveland County Sheriff Joe Lester announced Oct. 21 that detectives from the sheriff's office are seeking two suspects who were involved in a series of credit card frauds involving stolen credit cards over the last month. Lester said that the two suspects are involved in credit card frauds around the Norman and metro areas, and that they may be part of a larger fraud ring.

Detectives know the suspects attempted to purchase items from a Wal-Mart store in Norman and that the credit card the suspects used was reported stolen from a victim in an auto burglary in Cleveland County.

Security cameras caught images of the two suspects as they left the store.

According to the sheriff's office, the first suspect is described as a white female with brown shoulder length hair. She is in her mid 20s to early 30s. She stood 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighed about 120 pounds.

The second suspect is a white male with brown hair. He is in his mid 30s. The man stood between 5 feet, 10 inches and 6 feet and 2 inches tall. He weighs 220 to 240 pounds.

Detectives are asking that anyone with information about the suspects to call the Cleveland County Sheriff's Office at 321-8600 and ask for a Detective Prykryl. Callers can remain anonymous.
