NORMAN — Elizabeth Lorraine Tallent and Alec Richard Scully, both of Norman, plan to exchange wedding vows Sept. 29 at the First Christian Church in Oklahoma City, 3700 N. Walker Ave.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Larry and Pauline Tallent, Norman. She attended the University of Oklahoma and Université de Strasbourg Marc Bloch-Strasbourg, France, graduating in 2008 with a bachelor of arts degree in communication sciences and disorders and French; attended the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, graduating in 2010 with a master of arts degree in speech-language pathology. She is employed as a medical speech-language pathologist for RehabSource, specializing in geriatric therapy.

The future groom is the son of Bob and Carol Scully, Edmond. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma Michael F. Price College of Business in 2009 with a bachelor of business administration degree in energy management and a minor in finance. He is an independent landman for his own company, Scully Land Inc.
