NORMAN — Katie Giebler and Vernon Hooks, Norman, plan to exchange wedding vows on June 29, 2013, at Rose Creek Golf and Country Club in Edmond.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of John and Kim Giebler of Norman. She is the granddaughter of the late Alvin and Amelia Giebler of Hays, Kan., and Thayne and Joan Smith of Verdigris and the late Harold Hansen of Hays.

The prospective groom is the son of the late Bridgette Taylor-Bruner of Norman. He is the grandson of Purman Taylor and Margie Pearl Shepherd of Pauls Valley.
