Kersey, McCurley exchange vows


Kendra Kersey and John McCurley, both of Norman, were married July 25 at Discover Church in Noble.

The bride is the daughter of Yvonne Kersey of Norman.

The groom is the son of Susan and Tracy Minor of Noble and John McCurley of Norman.

The bride wore a white, strapless beaded bodice gown with a princess-cut dropped waist and pick-up embellishments. Her flowers were white peonies and pink gerber daisies.

Bud Wolf, minister of Antioch Baptist Church in Noble, officiated the ceremony.

Soloist Whitney Gifford sang Sara Evans' "No Place That Far."

The matron of honor was Amanda Boutwell of Norman.

Maid of honor was Sarah High of Norman.

Bridesmaids were Whitney Gifford, Kasey McKinzie and Kailee Kimrey, all of Ada, and Katie Lane of Noble.

The best man was Jesse Minor, brother of the groom, of Noble.

Groomsmen were Daniel Lawrence, Mark McCurley and Matthew Keener, all of Norman, and Danny Lane of Noble.

Ushers were Tyler McCarty of Ada and Randy Ramirez of Noble.

Flower girls were Kaylynn and Lillian Lawrence, nieces of the groom and daughters of Daniel Lawrence of Norman.

The ring bearers were Alex McCoy, son of Megan and Jeff McCoy of Norman, and Conner Lane, son of Katie and Daniel Lane of Noble.

Candlelighters were Tiffanie Chisholm of Mustang and Jessica Shinaberry of Norman.

The guest book attendant was Kendra Sala of Glenpool.

A reception followed at The Hall at Old Town Plaza in Norman.

The couple honeymooned in Cancun, Mexico, and has established a home in Norman.
