Rippe, Brockway wed
Holly Rippe and John David Brockway, both of Irving, Texas, exchanged wedding vows Dec. 22, 2008. Mike Bumgarner officiated the ceremony. A reception followed at Legends Restaurant.
The bride is the daughter of Ron and Debi Rippe of Tyler, Texas. She is a 2001 graduate of Thomas More Prep-Marian High School and a 2004 graduate of Emory University. She is employed with the New Teacher Project.
The groom is the son of Mac and Judie Brockway of Norman. He is a 2001 graduate of Norman North High School and received his doctorate of chiropractic from Parker College in Dallas in 2008.
After a honeymoon in the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee, the couple established a home in Lone Tree, Colo.

In the summer of 1959, Hank Larsen left his home in Dexter, Maine, and reported for duty at Fort Sill. It was his first Army assignment.
