Whitney Rose Cone of Nashville, Tenn., and James Christian Upchurch of Fort Campbell, Ky., have announced plans for a Feb. 20, 2010, wedding in Islamorada, Florida Keys.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Jeffrey Donald Cone of Amarillo, Texas. She graduated from Tascosa High School in 1997 and from Baylor University in 2002 with a bachelor of music degree in vocal performance. She received her vocal certification from the London Royal Academy. She is a member of Pi Beta Phi sorority. She is a senior registered associate with Morgan Stanley Smith Barney in Nashville
The prospective groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Douglas Upchurch of Norman. He graduated in 1998 from Norman North High School and attended the University of Oklahoma. He is an Army reconnaissance sniper stationed at Fort Campbell. He has served one deployment to Afghanistan.
