Lisa Buchanan and Brent Gathright, both of Norman, have planned a Nov. 21 wedding at First Baptist Church of Duncan.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Travis and Lauretta Buchanan of Duncan. She is a 2002 graduate of Ducan High School, a 2006 graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a bachelor's degree in elementary education and a 2008 OU graduate with a master's degree in instructional leadership and academic curriculum. She is a member of Pi Beta Phi sorority. She is a teacher with Norman Public Schools.
The groom is the son of Cary and Leigh Gathright of Tulsa. He is a 2003 graduate of Holland Hall School, a 2008 graduate of OU with a bachelor's degree in architecture, and plans a May 2010 graduation from OU with a master's degree in construction administration. He is a member of Beta Theta Pi fraternity. He is employed as a project engineer with Flintco.
