Kelly Rae Picek and Jeremy Joel Parker, both of Norman, were married May 16 at the State Capitol Rotunda.
The bride is the daughter of Julie and Robert Picek of Norman. She is a graduate of Norman High School, attended the University of Oklahoma and expects to graduate in May 2010 from the University of Missouri-St. Louis.
The groom is the son of Pamela and Doel Parker of McLoud. He is a graduate of McLoud High School and OU with a degree in aerospace and mechanical engineering. He is employed as a plant manager with Union Pacific.
The wedding was officiated by Tom McAuliffe.
The bride wore a lace gown by Casablanca Bridal. Its bodice was trimmed with a thin row of beads that continued onto the spaghetti straps. It featured ruffled layers of lace and organza below the hip that continued to the end of a semi-chapel-length train.
Her flowers were yellow calla lillies, white oriental lillies, astrolmerias and stephanotis.
The maid of honor was Taylor Heatly of Norman.
Bridesmatrons were Anne Broom and Lauren Masters, sisters of the bride. Bridesmaid was Jerica Parker, sister of the groom.
Tyler Dunsworth of McLoud was the best man.
Groomsmen were Daniel Parker of McLoud, Michael Kesler of Yukon and Gabriel Gricol of McLoud.
Flower girls were Kylie Masters, daughter of Ty and Lauren Masters of Oklahoma City and Nicole Lucas of Norman, and Jessica Broom, daughter of Will and Anne Broom of Norman.
Serving as ring bearer was Ty Dunsworth, son of Tyler Dunsworth of McLoud.
Guest book attendant was Lecia Hopkins, wedding coordinator.
The reception took place at the Sheraton Hotel in downtown Oklahoma City.
The couple honeymooned in Nashville, Tenn., and will establish a home in Hillsboro, Mo.
