Elizabeth Jane Nicholson and Dennis Gregory Wright Jr., both of Las Vegas, were married Aug. 19 at the home of Tony Bailey and Lynn Eshleman.
The bride is the daughter of Scott and Jane Weiss of Las Vegas and Ron Nicholson of Moore. She attended Chaparral High School and works for Seattle’s Best Coffee.
The groom is the son of the late Dennis G. Wright Sr. and Judith Wright of Las Vegas. He attended West Seneca East High School and works for Pepsi Bottling Company.
At the ceremony, officiated by Minister Peter Chapman, the bride wore an off-white gown with a long train decorated with pearls. She carried a dozen lavender roses.
Maid of honor was Tiffany Canary of West Valley, Utah. Bridesmaids were Sandra Mitchell, Allyce Gill and Ashleigh King, all of Las Vegas.
Best man was Jerry Boinski of Hope Mills, N.C. Groomsmen were Lenny Potts of Dallas, Andy Dayton of Buffalo, N.Y., and Nick Hernandez of Las Vegas.
Ushers included Keith Nicholson and Zac Nicholson, both of Las Vegas, and Daniel Canary of West Valley, Utah.
Flower girls were Ashley and Katie Beckett, daughters of Jim and Sue Beckett of Las Vegas.
Ring bearers were Isaiah Marietta, son of Elizabeth Nicholson of Las Vegas, and Daniel Canary, son of Jeff and Tyra Canary of West Valley, Utah.
A reception followed the ceremony at the home of Tony Bailey and Lynn Eshleman. Assistants were Emily Guinan and Mary Daniels. Following a honeymoon trip to San Diego, Calif., the couple established their home in Las Vegas.
