NORMAN — Cari Rankin and Aric Holmes, both of Norman, exchanged wedding vows Dec. 8, 2012, at Beaird Lounge in the Oklahoma Memorial Union. Josh Rogers officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Teresa and Tom Dotson, Norman, and Steve Rankin, Oklahoma City.
The groom is the son of Debbie and John Holmes, Littleton, Colo.
Ceremony musician was Gunter Hammett. Reception musicians were The Mystery Dates band.
The bride wore an Alvina Valenta ivory silk faced fluted bridal gown with sweetheart neckline. It had a alencon lace bodice with an ivory satin ribbon, jeweled detail belt and a chapel train.
She carried a bouquet of white hydrangeas, white English garden roses and white spray roses.
Matron of honor was Allison Carter, Norman.
Bridesmaids, were Christy Rife, Tulsa, Kendall Porter, Birmingham, Ala., Ashley Armstrong, Oklahoma City, Brittany Lee, Highlands Ranch, Colo., and Jordan Lindley, Fort Worth, Texas.
House party attendants were Brittany Whitehead, Dallas, Texas, and Autumn McMahon, Norman.
Best man was Jesse Holmes, Denver, Colo.
Groomsmen were Mykah Norville, Philadelphia, Pa., Chris LeBlanc, Erie, Colo., Jonathan White, Marietta, Ohio, Chris Mulvaney, Littleton, and Blake Rankin, Oklahoma City.
Ushers were Anthony Del Bianco, Denver, Anthony Kustura, Eugene, Ore., and Nathan Hill, Littleton.
Flower girls were Rebecca Lee, daughter of Brittany and James Lee, Highlands Ranch, Harper Rife, daughter of Christy and Michael Rife, Tulsa, Avery Lindley, daughter of Jordan and Rob Lindley, Fort Worth, and Lainey Whitehead, daughter of Brittany and Paul Whitehead, Dallas.
A reception took place at Beaird Lounge.
The bride is a 2002 graduate of Norman High School and a 2006 graduate of the University of Oklahoma. She is employed as a digital media designer and specialist at OU.
The groom is a 2006 graduate of Columbine High School and a 2012 graduate of Metropolitan State University. He is a graphic designer for Bob Mills Furniture.
Following a honeymoon in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, the couple have established residence in Norman, with their dogs, Finley and Kaia.
