Norman — Rachel Butterworth of Apple Valley, Minn., and Paul Riley of Norman have announced a June 5 wedding date in Burnsville, Minn.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Mark and Darcey Butterworth of Apple Valley. She is a 2004 graduate of Eastview High School, earned a bachelor’s degree in meteorology from Iowa State University in 2008 and plans a May graduation with a master’s degree in communication and meteorology from the University of Oklahoma. She is a research assistant for the Center for Collaborative Adaptive Sensing of the Atmosphere at the National Weather Center in Norman.
The prospective groom is the son of Tim and Ann Riley of Norman. He is a 1998 graduate of Norman High School and a 2002 graduate of OU with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. He is employed as an electrical engineer for the Federal Aviation Administration.
