Rankin, Holmes to wed

The Norman Transcript

NORMAN — Cari Marie Rankin and Aric Andrew Holmes plan to exchange wedding vows on Dec. 8 at the University of Oklahoma Campus in Norman.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Teresa and Tom Dotson, of Norman, and Steve Rankin, of Oklahoma City. She is the granddaughter of John and Evelyn Rankin, of Oklahoma City, and the late Leroy and Betty Tullius, of Norman. She is a 2002 graduate of Norman High School.

Rankin received a Bachelor of Arts in journalism in 2006 from OU, where she was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma. She is employed with OU as a digital media designer and specialist for University Development.

The future groom is the son of John and Debbie Holmes, of Littleton, Colo. He is the grandson of Madonna and the late Richard Hill and Frances and the late Dr. Lonnie Holmes. He is a 2006 graduate of Columbine High School and a 2012 graduate of Metropolitan State University of Denver with a Bachelor of Arts in journalism. He is employed with Bob Mills Furniture in Oklahoma City as their graphic designer.

The couple has made their home in Norman with their two dogs, Finley and Kaia.
