NORMAN — Anne Elizabeth Sickles and Reed Collins Maguire, both of Tulsa, exchanged wedding vows Aug. 11 at McFarlin Memorial United Methodist Church. The Rev. Linda Harker officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Don and Trudy Sickles, of Norman. She is the granddaughter of Maurice Hackler, of Norman. She is a 2005 graduate of Norman High School. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa in December 2008 from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Arts in letters. In May she graduated from the OU College of Law. She is a member of Kappa Alpha Theta women’s fraternity and is employed as an attorney with the law firm of Latham, Wagner, Steel and Lehman in Tulsa.
The groom is the son of Jim and Ca Maguire and the grandson of June Collins and Jim Maguire Jr., all of Norman. He is a 2003 graduate of Norman High School and a May 2008 graduate of OU with a Bachelors of Science in mechanical engineering. He is employed as a process engineer with Magellan Midstream Partners LP, Tulsa.
Serving as maid of honor was Zoe Church, of Manchester, N.H.
Bridesmaids were Katelynn Calonkey, of Norman, Haley Rader, of Oklahoma City, Britton Rife, of Norman, and Katie Urice, of Denver, Colo.
Best man was Mason Maguire and Callum Maguire, brothers of the groom, of Norman.
Groomsmen were Michael McHale, of Norman, Jeff Moody, of Norman, and Kurt Nehrenz, of Alexandria, Australia.
Ushers were Josh Cline, of Tulsa, Michael Lee, of Tulsa, and Garrett Sickles, of Norman, brother of the bride.
Candlelighters were Safia and Saif Salim, twin children of Dr. Muhammad and Dana Salim and cousins of the groom, of Norman.
Organist was Olivia Buthod.
Trumpeter was Brandon Case.
A reception immediately followed the ceremony at the Sam Noble Museum of Natural History.
The couple honeymooned in St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands.
