More snow due today

Transcript Staff

Yet another round of wintry precipitation is expected in the Norman area today.

The National Weather Service is forecasting that overnight rain is expected to change over into a mixture of rain or snow about noon today, with between one and three inches expected to accumulate.

The snow is expected to move out by tonight and give way to mostly sunny skies, strong north winds and a high of 36 degrees Tuesday.

A second chance of snow is expected Thursday before temperatures will warm into the mid-40s Saturday and Sunday.

Norman was hit with nearly a foot of snow Christmas Eve before suffering an ice and snowstorm Jan. 29-30.
