NEW: Missing Norman girl found

A Norman girl who was reported missing by her mother Saturday afternoon has been found.

Norman Police Master Officer Jennifer Newell said she didn't know where 9-year-old Krista Holland was located, but the detective investigating the case confirmed to Newell she was no longer missing.

A search for Krista sparked Saturday when her mother notified police about 1:45 p.m. Saturday that Krista was missing.

Newell said the girl was last seen about 9:30 a.m. by her 12-year-old sibling inside the family's apartment at 1616 Alameda Street.

When Krista's mother woke up from a nap around 1 p.m., the girl was not in the apartment, Newell said. The mother began looking for Krista in the complex and then notified police about 1:45 p.m.

As officers searched for Krista, the Oklahoma City Police Department's helicopter was summoned to help in an aerial search for several hours Saturday afternoon.
