NORMAN — Friday is the final day to apply for voter registration in order to be eligible to vote in the Aug. 24 state and county runoff primary election and Norman, special and Noble school special elections.
Norman voters will cast ballots on raising water and sanitation fees. Noble voters will cast ballots on a $22.7 million school bond issue and $530,000 transportation bond issue.
Election Board Secretary Paula G. Roberts said persons who are United States citizens, residents of Oklahoma and at least 18 years of age may apply to be a registered voter.
Forms are available at the election board, 641 E. Robinson St., at post offices and public libraries and tag agencies. They must be postmarked by midnight July 30.
Voters may not change their political affiliation until Sept. 1.
