Pedestrian killed crossing I-35

While crossing Interstate 35 in Norman Thursday, a pedestrian was struck by two cars and killed.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said the man was trying to cross the interstate about 5:15 p.m. when he was hit by a vehicle heading north on the Lindsey Street ramp to the highway.

The man was then knocked into the path of another vehicle, which hit him and drove away, according to witnesses.

The man's name has not yet been released.

The patrol's report said he was transported to Norman Regional Hospital, where he died.
