Associated Press

A pedestrian trying to cross Interstate 35 in Norman was killed after being hit by two cars.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the man was trying to cross the busy interstate about 5:15 p.m. Thursday when he was struck by a northbound vehicle driving along an onramp.

The man was thrown into the path of a second vehicle, which hit him and then drove away. The victim's name was not immediately released.

The patrol says the man was taken to a Norman Hospital, where he died.
