America Legion plans Christmas dinner
American Legion Post 88 will have a Christmas dinner for its legionnaires for the first time in almost 20 years, said Don Schulenberg, post commander.
"They pay their dues; it's time for us to pay them back," he said.
The Christmas party will take place 6 p.m. Dec. 21 at the American Legion Post, 710 E. Main St. There is only room for 100 people. Reservations will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis.
The spots are filling up quickly so members are asked to RSVP to Schulenberg at 615-7813 or to Bob Culbert at 306-7111 by Dec. 10.
