Two people were arrested late Saturday night after a fight that broke out at the Oklahoma Memorial Union.
Their identities had not been released as of Sunday evening.
A crowd estimated at between 600 and 800 people reportedly had gathered around the Union, on adjacent Felgar Street and in the parking lot of a nearby convenience store. Most of the crowd was there for a party put on by Omega Psi Phi, a national fraternity, according to the OU Police Department.
Officers from both the OUPD and Norman Police Department, as well as emergency crews were called shortly after 11 p.m. to the Union, 900 Asp Ave. People injured in a fight were reported to be in the adjacent parking garage.
The OUPD and Norman police units worked to break up the fight and disperse the crowd. Streets around the Union were shut down briefly as the party was broken up.
By 11:50 p.m. the crowd reportedly had dispersed.
