MOORE -- At twilight, under the light of a new moon, the staff of the Moore Public Library will host a celebration of the premiere of the newest vampire-romance movie, based on the book "New Moon" in the book series "Twilight" by Stephanie Meyers 6:30 p.m. Friday at the library, 225 S. Howard Ave.
"The Twilight books have reached national acclaim and popularity, and we are thrilled to offer a night focused on the vast themes of these books -- life and death and eternal love," said Leanne Cheek, teen librarian at the Moore Public Library.
"Vampires are always a special fascination. A great night of fun activities are in store for fans of all ages that can't get enough of Stephanie Meyers."
A party, Invitation to Volterra, is on tap with events and personalities highlighted in the books as a special focus. Refreshments, door prizes, and give-aways will be featured. Also, guests can have their photo taken with the "characters" of the movie, Edward, Jacob and Bella.
No pre-registration is required. For more information, visit the library's Information Services Desk or call 793-4349.
