A Turkish ladies coffee night is scheduled 6:30 p.m. Friday at the Raindrop Turkish House, 4444 N. Classen Blvd, Oklahoma City.
The theme of the program is "Women and Politics" and the discussion will be on ways to empower women in politics and in public service. Lt. Gov. Jari Askins and Secretary of State Susan Savage will be present.
The evening also will include performances from a Turkish folk dance group, games, authentic gifts and Turkish and Middle Eastern cuisine.
