The Norman Park Foundation, Inc. has named judges for its 5th Oklahoma Tree Photo Contest which includes $1,600 in prize money.
Jurors are OU professor emeritus Bob Goins, photographers Tom Lee, Charles Rushton, Shevaun Williams and OU professor Victor Youritzin.
"We are grateful to have such esteemed judges this year and have expanded our panel from 3 to 5," said Foundation Chairman, Joyce Pitchlynn. "Their qualifications and enthusiasm add to the energy and excitement of the event."
Photographs of Oklahoma trees will be accepted at Legends Times Two, 1333 W. Lindsey Street, between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Monday Nov. 9 and must meet the requirements stated on the application form.
The contest is open to professional and amateur photographers in color and black and white. Entries are due on November 9, and the juried show will hang in downtown Norman's First Fidelity Bank from Nov. 16 through Dec. 11. Prize winners will be announced on Dec. 11, at the Contest Reception from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at First Fidelity Bank during the Norman Gallery Association's Art Walk.
