OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Oklahoma City police have arrested a 29-year-old man for the drowning death of his girlfriend's 2-year-old daughter.
Police say Donnie Reeser repeatedly forced Allie Croom under water at Lake Stanley Draper Thursday until she drowned.
Sgt. Gary Knight says police were called about 5:30 p.m. Thursday to Midwest City Regional Hospital where the girl had been taken. He says detectives learned Reeser was at the lake with the girl and arrested him on a first-degree murder complaint after questioning him.
Reeser is being held in the Oklahoma County jail. There was no record of him yet having an attorney.
