The Norman Parks and Recreation Department will present a Volleyball Camp which June 22-25 at Whittier Recreation Center. The camp is for ages 7-14, and runs 9 a.m. through noon each day.Cost is $75 per child.
Camp instructor is Jen Salmons, head volleyball coach for Oklahoma City University for two years. In her first year, Salmons led OCU to 28-8 season and advanced to the national tournament for the first time in school history.
Originally from Dodge City, Kan., she was an all state volleyball player. Salmons went on to be All Conference and All American volleyball before graduating college at Colorado State-Pueblo.
