The Pride of Oklahoma and staff (330 plus) stopped by Holy Comforter School in Tallahasee, Fl, Friday night for a catered BBQ dinner from Jim & Milt's. They did not perform but they ate and mingled, before getting back on the bus. There is history between the university and Holy Comforter: Lisa Hall, a parent at the school, has a son in the Holy Comforter band and she is the Tallahassee alumni president for the University of Oklahoma. Also band director Brian Britt attended Holy Comforter in the ‘70s before moving to Oklahoma.
