Man robs Bank of Oklahoma branch in west Norman

The Federal Bureau of Investigation has released a surveillance photograph of the man who robbed a Norman bank shortly before 5 p.m. Friday.

At 4:58 p.m. Friday, an unidentified white man entered the Bank of Oklahoma branch at 3550 W. Main St., approached a teller and demanded money. He gathered the money and exited the bank on foot in a unknown direction.

The robber was described as a white male, 6'0" tall, 50 to 65 years old, with a mustache and wavy salt and pepper colored hair, wire-framed glasses which may be reading glasses, and a black T-shirt with the word "fubu" and a graphic printed on the front.

A reward of up to $2,000 is being offered by the Oklahoma Bankers Association for information that leads to the identification, arrest and conviction of the individual or individuals responsible for robbing a member bank.

Anyone with information regarding the robbery is asked to call the FBI at 290-7770 (24 hour number) or the Norman Police Department at 321-1600.
