NEW: Early voting starts with a bang

The Cleveland County Election Board opened its doors to a long line of voters this morning

NORMAN — The Cleveland County Election Board opened its doors to a long line of voters this morning looking to take advantage of the three-day in-person absentee voting.

By 8 a.m. the line stretched north to Main Street and around the corner. Within the hour it soon wrappd around Main Street and headed west about half a block.

Early voting will continue until 6 p.m. today, from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. Saturday and from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday.

According to State Election Board Secretary Michael Clingman, more than 1.4 million Oklahomans will go to the polls for the presidential election.
