Lexington woman accused of ID theft

Arrested attempting withdrawal at local bank

A Lexington woman working for a home health care agency is accused of taking a patient's ID and trying to withdraw money from her bank account, according to felony charges filed Wednesday in Cleveland County District Court.

Cassie Rae-Lea Browning, 31, was charged with knowingly concealing stolen property.

Norman police responded Tuesday to IBC bank at 2403 W. West Main St., where Browning allegedly was trying to withdraw $2,000 from a customer's account. A teller noticed the account had an alert on it. The victim's bank credit card and ID were found in Browning's vehicle. The defendant worked for the victim's former home health care agency, police said.

Other felonies filed Wednesday include:

· Eugene Roger Perez, 30, Norman, kidnapping; domestic abuse;

· Halston Grant Heck, 19, Purcell, unlawful possession of a controlled drug with intent to distribute within 2,000 feet of a school; possession of a firearm while in commission of a felony;

· Craig Ryan James, 19, Moore, unlawful possession of marijuana;

· Rickey Dewayne Williams, 52, Oklahoma City, unlawful possession of a controlled dangerous drug; operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.
