MNTC students earn scholarships

The Oklahoma State Home Builders Association recently awarded $1,600 in scholarships to four Moore Norman Technology Center students for the 2008-09 school year.?They are Billy Henson, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration; Nick Hilton, Carpentry; Stewart Lauderdale, Electrical and Automated Industrial Systems and Ryan Glover, Computer Aided Design and Drafting.

The scholarship funds are to be used to assist students in construction trades programs. Recipients are selected by a committee of construction-related trades instructors and the administrator of scholarships for MNTC.

The student, or students, who earn the scholarships funds must be making satisfactory progress toward graduation, and also need financial support to attain this goal.
