Pet lovers will gather Nov. 11 for a fundraiser and pet blessing sponsored by Paws for Friendship Inc. and K9 University. "Blessing of the Pets" will take place 6 - 8 p.m. at the K9 University campus, 9217 NW Expressway, Oklahoma City. This marks the 15th anniversary of the founding of 521c3 Paws for Friendship Inc.
The event will include blessings officiated by local ministers, fine art certificates of blessing and onsite professional pet photography. Participants who have pets unable to attend are encouraged to bring a photo or memento for ministers to bless. Pet owners must provide proof of current vaccinations at registration. Dogs must be on lead, cats in carriers.
