A fire in west Norman destroyed a motorcycle and car parked inside a garage. There were no injuries.
The blaze, shortly after 2 p.m., at 500 Edwards Drive was quickly extinguished and confined to the garage. Fire Chief James Fullingim said three engines and a district chief were dispatched to the scene.
No cause or damage estimate was immediately available.
The home’s owner, Ken McMillen, was away from the house when the fire broke out. A neighbor saw smoke and fire coming from the garage and alerted the fire department.
The blaze destroyed a custom motorcycle and a 1990 Mercedes 560 SEL. Firefighters rescued McMillen’s dog, Spanky.
“I appreciate whomever got him out,” McMillen said.
