Parents Helping Parents schedules speaker Thursday
An employee of Care for Change Inc. (Community Adolescent Rehabilitation Effort for Change Inc.) is the scheduled guest speaker at the upcoming meeting of the Norman chapter of Parents Helping Parents.
Parents Helping Parents will meet 7 p.m. Thursday at the Education Center at Norman Regional Hospital, 901 N. Porter Ave.
Speaker Amy Murphy will describe services at Care for Change Inc., an organization providing extended and intensive behavioral health and substance abuse services to those within the Oklahoma City metro area.
Parents Helping Parents is a network of parents and others concerned about alcohol/substance abuse among young people. The group offers hope through shared experience, resources and education.?They promote prevention and intervention, collaborative efforts and increased access to information/services, and support.
