Sunday’s high reached 106 degrees in Norman, according to the National Weather Service.
The NWS Web site showed the temperature topped out at 106 between about 4 and 6 p.m.
Not much relief is expected today. The forecast calls for a high of 104, and more hot and sunny weather is expected until Thursday, when the forecast calls for a 20 percent chance of rain and a high of only 95.
