Asphalt milling activities are planned to start Monday on Stubbeman Avenue between Ridge Road and Timberwolves Trail. The existing asphalt pavement surface will be milled and asphalt paving will be performed. The section of Stubbeman Avenue will be open for local access.
When asphalt paving is performed, some sections of the pavement will be closed and delays may occur. Motorists are requested to observe the directions given by the construction flaggers on the job site. This construction is estimated for completion in five work days.
The Urban Asphalt Milling/Repaving Program is part of the Asphalt Pavement Reconstruction Bond Project approved by the voters in the Norman General Obligation Bond Election on March 29, 2005.
The City's contractor on the project is Silver Star Construction. Project manager is Doug Danner, who can be reached at 409-0500.
