NEW: Crash slows morning I-35 traffic

Transcript Staff

A vehicle collision on Interstate 35 near the westbound Highway 9 intersection slowed northbound traffic this morning.

Northbound lanes were closed for a short time around 8 a.m. before the wrecker showed up to get the cars out of the road, said Kerri Mankey, dispatcher for the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

OHP troopers responded to the collision, but did not submit an official report because there were no fatalities or hospitalizations, Mankey said.
