Couch named as NAIC associate director

Tiffany Couch has been named associate director for prevention and development at the Norman Alcohol Information Center, NAIC Executive Director H.N. "Sonny" Scott announced Friday.

"Tiffany's knowledge of addiction, mental health and prevention, as well as her community involvement and commitment will be an asset to this position," Scott said. "We look forward to continuing to provide our communities, schools and public with collaborative services that target preventing and reducing substance abuse and related issues."

Couch has been employed as director of youth and family services at NAIC for three years. She has nine years' experience in prevention working for Norman Public Schools as a Student Assistance Program counselor. She also worked for 10 years with adolescents, children and families in mental health treatment. Couch is a licensed marital and familytherapist and a licensed alcohol and drug counselor. She is an approved CADC and LADC supervisor and is an Internationally Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor.

Couch fills the position formerly held by Teresa Collado, who was named executive director of Oklahoma Substance Abuse Service Alliance.
