K20 Center open house Thursday

The University of Oklahoma's K20 Center for Educational and Community Renewal will host an open house Thursday at its new facility at Two Partners Place on OU's Research Campus.

The public is invited to learn more about a statewide educational research and development center by attending the event.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony will be 2 p.m., followed by a reception and tours of the facility until 6 p.m. Chancellor Glen Johnson, OU President David Boren and State Superintendent Sandy Garrett will speak at the event.

Developed in 1996, the K20 Center is a statewide educational research and development center that promotes innovative learning through school-university-community collaboration.

The K20 Center is at 3100 Monitor Ave.
