Norman resident David Dibble contacted The Transcript Friday afternoon and asked that we tell our readers he is not, in fact, the fictional David Dibble mentioned in a recent story about fictional political candidate Jim Lemons.
Those characters are the work of two college students and former Transcript employees.
The Transcript regrets any confusion caused to Mr. Dibble’s friends and family.
