A 30-year-old Noble man was handed a 15 year suspended sentence Wednesday, after entering a "blind plea" of guilty to a charge of injury to a minor child.

Samuel Allen was ordered by District Judge Lori Walkley to have no unsupervised contact with any child under 18 for five years; to pay a $1,000 fine and court costs; to make a $1,000 contribution to the Women's Resource Center; and to be under the supervision of Oklahoma Court Services for five years.

Assistant District Attorney Victoria Gillispie recommended Allen serve 10 years in prison followed by 10 years probation.

Gillispie said Allen whipped the victim, a 4-year-old boy, from head to toe with a wire coat hanger, and submitted photos showing the boy's body covered with its outlined marks.

Allen was represented by Joel Vandruff.

Also Wednesday, Shawn Rohrbaugh, 32, Oklahoma City, was found guilty of lewd molestation in a non-jury trial.

Walkley ordered a pre-sentence investigation and scheduled sentencing for 11 a.m. Nov. 13.

Gillispie said Rohrbaugh used his cell phone to take indecent photos of a Norman woman's 15-year-old daughter while the girl was sleeping. Rohrbaugh was dating the victim's mother at the time of the incident.

Rohrbaugh was at the woman's residence June 26, 2005, entered into the bedroom of her daughter while the girl slept and took three revealing photos with his cellular phone, according to a court affidavit. The girl's mother later discovered the images after accessing the man's cell phone account via the Internet, according to the affidavit.

Rohrbaugh is being represented by Elizabeth Base.
