American Legion Post 88 will celebrate Memorial Day by placing a small flag at each veteran's grave in two cemeteries.
Sunday at 2 p.m. at Warren Cemetery in the Brookhaven area of Norman, the speaker will be retired SFC James Alexander, recruiter, station manager of the Army and Army Reserves.
At 11 a.m. Monday at the IOOF Cemetery, the speaker will be Gary Adams, retired chief of the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. The Honor/Color Guard will be members of the OHP.
The Warren Cemetery Honor/Color Guard is from Tinker AFB, and the bugler is Larry Arrasmith, Legionnaire.
