An Oklahoma City woman and president of the Briarwood Homeowners Association was charged Tuesday in Cleveland County District Court with embezzling more than $9,000 from fellow homeowners.
Jade Renne Gilbert, 34, was charged with one felony count of embezzlement, court records show.
According to an affidavit, the reporting party and immediate past president of the Briarwood Homeowners Association called a meeting of association members to vote Gilbert out of office and "reclaim the books" to have records audited.
Association members identified $9,881 worth of unauthorized expenditures, according to the reports.
Gilbert's attorney, at Gilbert's police interview, said the woman "wants to confess, make restitution and put this behind her," according to the affidavit.
Also Tuesday, a Norman man was charged with two felony counts of making lewd proposals to children, and five misdemeanor counts of contributing to the delinquency of minors.
Donald Ray Hall Jr., 27, is accused of providing marijuana, crystal meth and mushrooms to 13-, 14- and 15-year-old boys, and propositioning them to engage with him in sexual acts.

Dylan Spencer Moran, 27, Norman, operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicating liquor;
Pearl Airi Jones, 18, Norman, unlawful possession of controlled drugs within 1,000 feet of a park;
Christopher Carlton Thrash, 19, Oklahoma City, two counts of concealing stolen property;
Christopher Alan Vanhorn, 25, Oklahoma City, unlawful delivery of a controlled drug within 2,000 feet of a school;
Vonda Kay Morgan, 40, Norman, unlawful possession of a controlled drug;
Albert Lenererd Gaines, 44, Spencer, larceny of merchandise from a retailer;
Sharay Monique Latchison, 23, Oklahoma City, larceny of merchandise from a retailer;
Kieshua Rena Bruner, 27, Oklahoma City, larceny of merchandise from a retailer, after former conviction of a felony;
Diana Diane Mahaffey, 25, Lexington, second-degree forgery;
Jeffrey James Highbanks, 19, Norman, unlawful possession of a controlled drug with intent to distribute.
