Boston rock duo Harry and the Potters will present their program of original songs based upon the popular Harry Potter books by J.K. Rowling at 7 p.m. in the meeting rooms of the library, 225 S. Howard Ave.
The songs are written and performed by brothers Paul and Joe DeGeorge.
Tickets are required for admission to the concert which also will include a Harry Potter character costume contest, food, and a meet-and-greet with the performers. The event is scheduled to end at 9:30 p.m.
The free tickets may be picked up at any of the hometown public libraries of the Pioneer Library System in Cleveland, McClain and Pottawatomie counties. The limited number of tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
The quirky, punk rock, tribute band has performed at college, library and teen venues across the nation. The Moore library is the only Oklahoma stop on the band's second cross-country tour.
