NEW: OHP: Man distracted by iPod killed in crash

ANADARKO, Okla. (AP) -- An Anadarko man apparently distracted by his iPod died after crashing his pickup into an oncoming vehicle in Caddo County.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 21-year-old Robert Yackeyonny died Friday after the head-on collision on U.S. 62 south of Anadarko.

The patrol says Yackeyonny was westbound about 8:21 a.m. when he got distracted by his iPod, crossed the centerline and slammed into an oncoming pickup driven by 35-year-old Clint Courtney of Fort Cobb.

Yackeyonny died at the scene, and Courtney was treated for an arm injury at a local hospital and released.

The patrol says both men were wearing their seat belts.
