Norman — Three artists will be given blank canvases and two hours to complete pieces of original artwork during Live Paint, set for 7 p.m. at Standing Buffalo Indian Art Gallery and Gifts, 106 E. Main St.
The event will feature artists Marwin Begaye, Navajo; Micah Wesley, Creek/Kiowa; and Cole Cathey, Seminole.
“At the end of the evening there will be three brand new pieces of art produced by these tremendous artists and the audience will have an opportunity to purchase the pieces in a live auction,” gallery owner Tom Farris said. “For this particular Live Paint, I have a surprise twist that not even the artists know about. I think it will add a new level of challenge to the event.”
Norman artist Jeremy Gragg will provide musical entertainment.
The Standing Buffalo Gallery is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays.
