Boy Scouts plan 100th anniversary luncheon

The Norman Transcript

Norman — The Sooner District of the Last Frontier Council has set its 100th Anniversary Norman Community Friends of Scouting Kickoff Luncheon for noon Tuesday at The Hall at Old Town Plaza, 102 W. Eufaula.

Long-time Scout and former District Judge Elvin Brown will speak.

The program also will include highlights of the district, the council and things to look for in 2010, both locally and nationally.

Lunch reservations should be sent by Monday to Matt Thompson, district executive, at Matt.Thompson@scouting.org
