Resources, books available for those interested in the paranormal

Residents who want to learn more about ghost hunting, the paranormal, or read about Oklahoma's spookier side, should start their searches on the Internet.

History buffs will find a collection of stories in Tonya Hacker and Tammy Wilson's book, "Ghostlahoma."

Built around stories submitted by readers, "Ghostlahoma" is the "only book solely dedicated to Okahoma ghost stories," Hacker said.

"Ghostlahoma" is available at www.ghostlahoma.com.

Residents interested in actually investigating the paranormal and urban legends should visit www.ghouli.org, the Web site of Ghost Haunts of Oklahoma and Urban Legend Investigation.

Other Web sites include: SPOOK, the Sooner Paranormal of Oklahoma Ghost Hunters, at www.soonerparanormalofok.com and the Oklahoma City Ghost Club's Web site at theshadowlands.net/atwork/ocgc.htm.

Hacker and her paranormal investigators can be reached via e-mail at tonyahacker@gmail.com
